Partner with God to champion lives.

SPONSOR

Scripture tells us that God has a plan and a purpose for all of His creation. And when we look at the youth of Rwanda, we see a hunger for learning and love of family that compels us to action.

The Kugaba Initiative is a unique program designed to create a lasting connection between you and a student at Hope Haven Rwanda. Through prayer, engagement and investment, your participation will directly help educate and feed a Hope Haven student.

More than sponsorship, Kugaba - the Kinyarwandan word for “gift” or “investment” - invites you to champion a life, and all the lives that will be impacted by it. Activating a trajectory of success that God has placed in every child.

Prospects reimagined.

For soccer-loving Primary student
Intangishaka Cedric, the Kugaba Initiative has transformed his opportunities, for today and tomorrow. Through the support of his Hope Angel, he’s on course to make his mark among the next generation of Rwandans.

In 2021, Cedric was sponsored and met his Hope Angel.

Cedric is a bright student in Primary 5 (5th grade).

Eager to learn, he dreams of playing soccer when he grows up.

Champion students like Cedric.
And help them write the next chapter of Rwanda.

A Sponsor’s Story

On a visit to Hope Haven, Natalie and Mike felt led by the Spirit to support Blessing through the Kugaba Initiative. Moving on this prompting has changed Blessing’s life, and their own.
